The Aura 2000 is the first hearing instrument to cross the boundary from ordinary, digital technology into the next dimension of advanced hearing instruments with Artificial Intelligence The revolutionary new circuitry works much like the human brain by automatically adjusting to different listening situations. It enhances speech while effectively reducing many different types of background noise.

Conventional digital hearing aids systems cannot split background noise into different frequency bands for individual processing - they must operate either in Directional or Surround Mode in all frequencies simultaneously. This also means that they can only lock onto and cancel only one source of noise at a time. The Aura 2000 uses a sophisticated new filter to split the signal into four different frequencies.

This enables it to suppress multiple noise sources simultaneously. Whether it’s operating in Normal, Surround Sound or Split mode, the computer chip automatically cancels out up to four different noise sources, including wind noise.

New 8-channel, modulationbased noise reduction system maintains a balance between speech intelligibility and comfort.
